Georgia State Society

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) was founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C. Any woman 18 years or older regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or ethnic background is eligible for membership. Georgia Daughters welcome you to join DAR!

Hawaii State Organization

ABOUT HAWAII STATE ORGANIZATION
March 2, 1916, is when the Hawaii State Organization, NSDAR, Territory of Hawaii, was organized. Hawaii Daughters have, with enthusiastic pride, promoted patriotism, historic preservation, and education, serving “God, Home, and Country.” In the 1920s, Hawaii Daughters were especially appreciative of the cultural exchange and enriching interaction that were brought to them by the “unusual number of visiting Daughters.” The spirit of aloha has not changed.

Illinois State Organization

Illinois Daughters work to enhance our nation’s patriotic appreciation. Love of country was the purpose our ancestors fought for freedom and it is the bond that unites us. Illinois Daughters participate in a wide variety of historic preservation projects.

Iowa State Society

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890, is a non-profit, non-political, volunteer women’s service organization. Membership in the society is open to any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot. Iowa is home to 43 chapters and about 1,800 members.

Kansas State Society

DAR has members in 3,000 chapters across the United States and internationally. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolutionary War.

Kentucky State Society

Almost 5,000 Kentucky Society Daughters of the American Revolution (KSDAR) in 83 chapters. Building on our state’s history, the KSDAR unites women from every corner of the Bluegrass in service to our communities, state, and nation.
